If you can find them, provide each student with three cups of three different colours. (Green, Red, Orange.)
As students work, they can quietly show you how they feel they are doing by making one of the cups visible on their desk.
Green= I get this and don't need any support.
Orange= I'm not sure about this.
Red= I don't get it and want you to know.
